is that cells here

are not as a matter of fact

(2), Section 9 of the presen Ordinance differs from section 8 of the Prisms Ordinance of 1885 in the following main respects :-

(1) By abolishing the regis classification of

hard labour into two classes which was laid down by the old Ordinance and i which was found unworkable in practice and ii leasing such classification to be prescribed by the Quain Rules and Re-

(8.) Section 11 of the present Ordinance differs from 1986, in the

section 10 of the Prisms Ordinance of 1986,

The words "who escapes or attempts to escape from any prison of " are now added.

The object of this amendment is to prevent difficulties from arising in the prosecution of prisoners who are caught while attemp/ing to escape and who have not committed anything
